with presences in Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, New Jersey, Connecticut, California, Arizona,
Michigan, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Ohio, New York and Massachusetts.
Its international seminary of Saint Philip Neri is also located there, and the institute's ordinations and other major
masses are held at the church of San Gaetano in Florence.
The institute is based in Gricigliano, Italy, in the Archdiocese of Florence.
Deacons and priests are incardinated into the institute,
whose prior general has the right to call to orders.
Its stated mission is the defence and propagation of the reign of Christ the
King in all areas of human life, both private

the permanent diaconate, working instead

Raymond Leo Burke conferred the priesthood on the canons Mateusz Wlodarcyzk, Sebastian Hugoboom, Nicholas Johanni and Toan Nguyen. The ceremonies began with the imposition of the cassock on 16 seminarians and five clerical oblates,
received from the hands of the institute’s superior general, Monsignor Gilles Wach.

– poignant that he was called to his Heavenly rest on their feast day.
Having celebrated his Diamond Jubilee in June 2023, Father Gerard was
a steadfast shepherd. Father Gerard McGuiness, beloved priest of the
Diocese of Shrewsbury and in particular St Winefride’s,
entered into his Eternal Reward earlier today, following over sixty years

The seminarians and their Superiors recently recieved many
graces by a visit to Lucca which is around 48 miles from Florence.
On Thursday, Canon Mateusz Wlodarcyzk, Canon Sebastian Hugoboom, Canon Nicholas Johanni and Canon Toan Nguye – Ordained Priests for ever by His Eminence Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke.
These were developed for scholas and choirs of the apostolates
of the Institute of Christ the King.
